| Guess who's endorsing Mike Huckabee now (besides me)? Click here In other words, he's already won. Just a simple roundhouse kick to the voting machine and things are taken care of.
note: The website reporting it has some really weird advertisements, so try to stick to the article.

| Today was the last football game, and you know what that means. Actually, you probably don't. BUT I DO! AND I'M GONNA TELL YOU! It means that the Countdown To Pasadena has begun. As a member of the MSU Pride Band, aka Honor Band at the Tournament of Roses Parade on January first, I'll be marching the 7-mile parade not too many weeks from now. Of course, visiting the Crystal Cathedral and Disneyland are just perks, but I'll be going to those places on that trip, as well. Oh, and the Grand Marshal of the parade is a chef. Kind of funny, seeing as the last 5 years, the GM's have been people like George Lucas, John Williams, Sandra Day O'Connor, and Mickey Mouse. Perhaps this means we'll eat well?

| Dude. Nicolae almost died. I was at my family's house getting a few things out of my old room that I didn't want anymore. One of them happened to be an MSU light-up pin that I got at SOAR. I set all the things I was taking back with me on the table downstairs, only to notice ten minutes later that the pin wasn't amongst them. A quick look down revealed that the pin had a magnet on it and had stuck to Nicolae's USB port! I plugged him into the computer and while it detected it, it said the USB drive was malfunctioning and wouldn't read any data. THE HORROR!!! There was only one thing I knew to try: the ziploc-bag-in-the-freezer method. Why this would work with magnetic damage, I have no idea, but by golly it did. Not only that, it wasn't just a temporary thing: Nicolae still works now after 2 days with no apparent loss in performance. Simply awesome. If your jumpdrive is ever in trouble, you now know what to do, whether it will only make it work long enough to back up the data or bring it fully back to life.
